Often samples won't ship to Alaska, but Bigelow Tea ships here.  I've enjoyed quite a few cups of Tea thanks to their samples!

Why aren't you "SwagBucking" Yet?

I just cashed in my 5th Amazon Gift Card from Swagbucks today.  That is my 5th one just this month!  Our Budget is tight so coupons help a lot.  But earning gift cards through Swagbucks helps a whole lot too!  I cash out with Target cards, Pay pal, or Amazon cards.  Every little bit helps.

I earn most of my Swagbucks through watching videos and doing surveys.  It can take a little time, but there are great resources to help you out.  I use the forums at weusecoupons.com to help as well as the Facebook group "Swagbuck Offers that Credit."

Savingstar  is a great tool to save more money at the store.  Basically, the way it works is you register your store card with Savingstar.  You load offers to your card.  They have great deals like $1/1 All detergent and Get $4.00 back when you spend $12.00 on any Smart Ones® breakfasts before March 26!

On top of these great options, on 2014, they've added great healthy coupons to help keep the house stocked with healthy food.  I;ve redeemed 20% off cucumbers and apples so far this year.

TURNAGAIN TOUR

Join volunteers Bob and Ann Fisher for a 7.5-mile round trip scenic hike from the Potter Trailhead to McHugh Creek and back. Hikers will meet at the parking lot just past the Chugach State Park Headquarters, located at mile 115.2 on the right side of the Seward Highway. There is a $5 parking fee (AK State Park day passes honored). Hikers should be in good shape, but may be beginners. Hikers are advised to bring a daypack with snacks/lunch, water and wind/snow clothing. Snowshoes and/or ice cleats may be needed. The hike is limited to the first 12 people (at least 18 years old) who register by calling 694-2108.

Since owls are active at night, many people haven't ever seen an owl up close, but here’s your chance. Meet Archimedes the Great-horned owl, a live education bird. Ginamaria Smith will present Archimedes and share information about what makes owls unique, why they’re incredible hunters, and which types you can find here in Alaska.
